About Me

Where to begin! I am new to the 40’s club and am loving every second of it. You know what they say, 40 is the new 25 and I am totally feeling it. My passions are reading, writing, learning, and sharing the things I learn (hence the blog). I have 3 kids – 1, 12, and 15. My children are a blessing and also happen to be responsible for every single grey hair on my body. My husband is my prince charming and for that, I feel grateful every day.

I am currently working on cultivating deeper, richer friendships - something that has been missing from my adult life. I admit to having a love/hate relationship with my phone: It has certainly robbed me of valuable moments, but I always find myself going back after quitting. I prefer experiences to gifts. I am also an introvert at heart. My time alone is how I recharge so I can be present for everyone around me. Oh – and I adore funny memes. If you have any to share, send them my way!

I have been in Corporate America for over 20 years. It is my belief that you can have a corporate job and live an amazing, fulfilling life. It’s all a matter of perspective.
